Victor Oladipo announces Jan. 29th return vs Bulls

Injured Pacers star Victor Oladipo announced on Wednesday that he will be returning to the court on January 29th when the Pacers take on the Chicago Bulls at Banker's Life Fieldhouse.  Oladipo rejoins a Pacers squad who currently is 23-14 and a 6 seed as they are currently 1 game from the 4 seed.  Adding Oladipo back to an already great team will make the Pacers a must-watch in the 2nd half of the season.  Let's hope the old Victor is back!  Coming back from an injury is always hard mentally and physically, but from what I have heard from sources, he looks great in practices and scrimmages.   Just In: Pacers star Victor Oladipo tells NBA Insider @ShamsCharania that he plans

Pacers and Domantis Sabonis agree to 4-yr $74M deal

Just ahead of the NBA season and before the deadline for players in their rookie contract, the Pacers and forward Domantis Sabonis have agreed on a 4-yr $74M deal.  Over the weekend there were reports of trade rumors that the Pacers were actively shopping Sabonis after "seeing the experiment not working".  Obviously, the Pacers like what they see and keep Sabonis in Pacers uniform. Sabonis will play this season on his rookie contract before the big number hits next season.  Sabonis's contract is similar to the one that center Myles Turner signed this time last season of 4-yr $72M.  With incentives, Sabonis could earn up to $85M in this contract. Domantas Sabonis and the Indiana Pacers have agreed to a four-year,

Brogdan has been hampered by injuries the past two season, but the Pacers have a great training staff

Former Pacers Point Guard Darren Collison Retires

Darren Collison has decided to retire from the NBA, the veteran point guard announced on Friday. "Basketball has been my life since I was a child," Collison wrote in an article on The Undefeated. "I could never imagine finding anything that brings me more joy than I get from playing the game. While I still love basketball, I know there is something more important, which is my family and my faith. I am one of the Jehovah’s Witnesses and my faith means everything to me. I receive so much joy from volunteering to help others and participate in a worldwide ministry. The joy I feel is unmatched. With that being said, I have decided to retire from the NBA." Collison, 31, went on to explain

My Pacers Draft Grade………

Tell me if you have heard this before.......The Pacers draft was a BUST!  The Pacers waited and selected Goga Bitadze.  Who!?!  Exactly.....a scorer and playmaker.......No!  The Pacers have found another way to "pee the bed" in the draft in a let down of a night as a Pacers fan.  The Pacers had a chance in the 2nd round at #32 to get a point guard and playmaker and decided to trade the pick to Miami for 3 future second round picks and then they traded the 50th pick to Utah for a future 2nd round pick. Goga is a shot blocker and can score close but the last thing the Pacers needed was another center with Myles Turner and Domantas Sabonis

Pacers land TJ Warren & 32nd pick in draft from Suns

The Pacers made the first move on draft day when they traded with the Phoenix Suns and landed scoring forward TJ Warren and the 32nd pick in the draft tonight for "cash considerations".  This move by Pacers GM Kevin Pritchard was HUGE adding a scoring forward who can shoot the three-pointer and also adding a third draft pick tonight at #32 overall.   Kevin Pritchard did say that the Pacers would be "aggressive in the draft". The Pacers now have the 18th, 32nd and 50th pick tonight in the draft. Indiana has traded for Phoenix’s TJ Warren, league source tells ESPN. — Adrian Wojnarowski (@wojespn) June 20, 2019 Trade will not be finalized until July 6 when the Pacers will have room to absorb TJ

REPORT: Pacers have “high interest” in acquiring D’Angelo Russell this off-season

With Kyrie Irving leaning towards going to Brooklyn this off-season, that will fill a position that current Net D'Angelo Russell has.  Russell also a free agent looks to be on the move.  Reports from (SNY) on Friday night say that the Indiana Pacers have "high interest" in acquiring D'Angelo Russell this off-season.  There are several teams likely interested in Russell's service including the Pacers, Knicks, and Celtics.  it appears that Russell has turned a corner this past year having his best season.  The 23-year-old was named to his first All-Star team and averaged career highs with 21.1 PPG, and 7.0 APG in 81 games this year with Brooklyn who finally made it back to the playoffs for the first time

OFFICIAL: Victor Oladipo suffers ruptured quad tendon; Ending his season

The Pacers announced this afternoon that Victor Oladipo suffered a rupture quad tendon, effectively ending his season.  This is a HUGE blow for the Pacers who are currently in 3rd place only 2.5 games out of the 1 seed.  It will now be telling to see how this team steps up and performs the rest of the season.  This team WILL make the playoffs, there is no way this team with all the talent they have missed the playoffs.  They would likely have to win no more than 5 games the rest of the season to not make the playoffs. The recovery for Victor is a lengthy and a challenging one as many sports injury experts have said.  It is a

Pacers star Victor Oladipo goes down with serious knee injury

Pacers star guard Victor Oladipo went down with a gruesome knee injury in the 2nd quarter of the Pacers games Wednesday night at Banker's Life Fieldhouse.  As Oladipo was chasing down a ball, he fell and let out a scream and looked at his team and knew it was serious as he screamed with trainers coming in at a silent Banker's Life Fieldhouse.  The official Pacers report is that Victor Oladipo suffered a severe knee injury and will get an MRI on Thursday.    #PrayerstoVictor I am sick to my stomach as I was watching the Paul George injury live on tv.  We have had nothing but bad luck here in Indy with our sports stars.
