The Sports World Comes To A Halt

Today March 12th, 2020 will be remembered as the day the sports world came to a screeching halt.  With the deadly CoronaVirus popping up across the United States and into the sports world, the four major leagues (NBA, MLB, NHL, NFL) decided to end all games and activities.  In college basketball, the big conferences started canceling their conference tournaments late in the morning and this afternoon around 4:30 pm, the NCAA announced that they were canceling the men's and women's NCAA Tournament.  No March Madness. BREAKING: Josh McDaniels backs out of Colts HC job; Colts back to drawing board

INDIANAPOLIS-   A bombshell announcement from ESPN's Adam Schefter came tonight after the 7 o'clock hour on Twitter:Stunner: Patriots’ OC Josh McDaniels has decided NOT to accept Colts’ HC job and will remain with New England, sources told ESPN." A huge swerve to the Colts once again from the Patriots.  The Colts and McDaniels had agreed to terms this morning on a contract and the Colts tweeted out a press conference for tomorrow at 4pm to announce the hiring. Where do the Colts look now?  Dave Toub from the Chiefs has to be one of the top candidates once again.  The Colts are the only NFL team without a head coach, Offensive coordinator, and defensive coordinator.
