Colts sign Philip Rivers to 1 yr $25M deal

The Colts found their quarterback...well maybe for one season.  The Indianapolis Colts today signed QB Philip Rivers to a 1 year $25M deal. Rivers would be reunited with Colts offensive coordinator Nick Sirianni, who spent five seasons as an offensive assistant with the Los Angeles Chargers, who Rivers played for from 2004 to 2019. Colts coach Frank Reich was the offensive coordinator for two seasons with the Chargers, spending three total years with Rivers in San Diego. Reich was the Chargers' quarterbacks coach in 2013, when Rivers led the NFL by completing 69.5% of his passes, the highest completion percentage of his career. Along with throwing for 4,478 yards and 32 touchdowns that season, Rivers also took care of the football, throwing

Colts to be active this off-season

The Colts have an NFL-high of about $110 million in salary-cap space to try to address needs at pass-rusher, safety and receiver. Don't get too excited, though. Colts GM Chris Ballard believes in taking a methodical approach to free agency. 1978

Colts beat Titans; Clinch Playoff Berth

The Colts dominated a rain-soaked game in Nashville Sunday night 33-17 as they clinched the 6-seed in the NFL Playoffs. The Colts clinched a playoffs spot for the first time since 2014.  It has been a long road for the Colts who thought they would never get their franchise QB back after shoulder surgery and a 2-14 season. hotteAndrew Luck finished 24-35 for 285 yards and 3 TDs.  Marlon Mack led the rushing attack with 119 yards and 1 TD on 25 carries.  The Colts started the season 1-5 and the outlook looked dim for the Colts before winning 9 of their last 10 games.  The Colts enter the playoffs as one of the st teams and a team that most would

Colts – Titans Prediction

Tonight the Indianapolis Colts have a do or die "playoff-like" game against the division rival Tennessee Titans.  The winner of this game goes to the playoffs at the 6-seed and will play at Houston next weekend.  The Titans will be without their franchise QB Marcus Mariota as he is out with a lingering stinger. Luck and the Colts come to Tennessee where they have had plenty of success before.  The Colts lead the all-time series 32-16 over Tennesee and won earlier this year at Lucas Oil Stadium against the Titans 38-10. Luck threw for 297 yards and 3 Tds in the win as Mariota and Gabbert both played for the Titans as Mariota was banged up. PREDICTION: I believe that the Colts get the win tonight

Did Colts coach Frank Reich give a hidden message for Le’Veon Bell?

Maybe its nothing.......OR maybe its something.  Today during Indianapolis Colts coach Frank Reichs press conference, Reich entered the press room wearing a blue and white t-shirt with the lettering "Got Juice?" on it.  To some people this just may be weird saying or maybe talking about orange juice!?                 To those in the know like myself about football and nicknames,  "Juice" is the nickname of Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell who has been linked to the Indianapolis Colts the past several months.  Bell has been seen in the past "liking" the Instagram posts that the NFL post about the Colts.   The Colts are in desperate need of a running back and Le'Veon would be a good fit in Indianapolis to give Luck a hand

What version of Andrew Luck will we get??

Tomorrow (Thursday) will be preseason opener for the Indianapolis Colts as they travel to the Seattle Seahawks.  The question that each Colts fan and staff member will have in their mind is, What version of Andrew Luck will we get? Andrew Luck is expected to play the entire 1st quarter coach Frank Reich said on Wednesday.  Yes, it's a preseason game and just one quarter, but it's a step in the right direction for Luck's return.  I don't expect Luck to come out and go 9 for 10 for 200 yards tomorrow night, but I do want to see Andrew moving around the pocket and making throws 15-20 yards down the field. It's been 585 days since Andrew Luck played a game
