Purdue senior Vincent Edwards and sophomore Carson Edwards are were both named to the late-season Wooden Award Top 20 watch list that was announced last night in Los Angeles.  The award is given out to the nation’s top player each season.

The list will cut down to 15 players by March 15th.  Purdue, Arizona and Villanova are the only schools to have more than one player named.

Carson Edwards leads Purdue in scoring at 16.6 PPG and grabbing 3.7 RPG. Carson is shooting a sizzling 47.1% from 3 point range.  Vincent Edwards is second in scoring at 15.5 PPG and 7.8 RPG. Vince is shooting 49.3% from the field and 41.3% from 3 point range. In the Rutgers win, Vince became the 2nd Big Ten Player in the last 25 years to score 1,500 points, 700 rebounds, 350 assists and 150 made 3-pointers.

#3 Purdue plays #14 Ohio State on Wednesday at Mackey Arena at 8:30pm.
